@yogapaddlerun I once had an adjunct professor teaching a summer class who showed up on day one in a tube top looking thing with spaghetti straps. One of the students complained to the head of the dept. On day two she showed up and announced that, as a lawyer, she owns a lot of suits and if we want business attire, she's happy to oblige, but she would be requiring that the students all wear business attire as well. We finished the summer in shorts and tank tops. #comfort

@GrandmaJ I think it happened right around the time I became a homeowner. Or maybe it's because my job is extremely focused on safety and weather awareness. My job and my home happened right around the same time so it's hard to tell which was the catalyst.

I had to show my mom two different weather radar maps in order to convince her to put down her coffee and go do the morning chores before the storm hit. When did I become the adultier adult?

One more day until I can trade job work for house work. Gutters, gardening, small tweaks on our bed frame to prepare for a new mattress that arrives Wednesday. I love doing that kind of stuff because I can actually see the results of my labor. Job work...not so much. But job work must come first for today. @wrinkled_time my dog is taking prednisone, which gives her horrible gas. I can confirm that being cooped up in an office with a gassy dog for several days definitely qualifies as torture.
