One more day of this oppressive heat and then Mother Nature gives us a brief break. Today is the last day of mercury in retrograde. My weight loss had a hiccup but is back on track. My yard is full of fledgling birds and baby bunnies and so far the dogs have been incredibly well behaved. Coffee is in hand and it's almost the weekend. Good morning all! It's going to be a wonderful day :)

Ok here we go....we got this. I WILL get this design submittal finished this week. I am nothing else if not pigheadedly stubborn. Let the coffee flow and may the phone stay silent. Having a day off in the week just means doing the same amount of work in four days instead of five. Also...June...already. Where has this year gone? I have so much I still need to do this year and I'm running out of time. #morecoffee

*sigh* I will not murder the manager who changed the criticality status of the wall after the wall design was finished such that it now requires a complete re-design. It's a good thing I work remotely.

So far this morning I managed to install a Windows update without breaking anything and I spilled coffee all over my desk (which is way easier to clean up than the wine I spilled all over my desk and wall on Friday). It seems like it might be a one step forward one step back kind of day. This cup of coffee doesn't count. I have to start over now. #morecoffee

The new work laptop seems to have a nasty habit of overheating while in sleep mode. Stupid thing was almost too hot to touch. Now that the laptop is cooled off, it's time to go for run before the sun starts baking us and I overheat. #laptopfail #SoHot
