Good morning, CoSo friends. I spotted my first monarch caterpillar this morning. Of course, it chose the milkweed closest to the road. I was going to leave it, but couldn’t stand the thought of it getting run over or eaten, so I brought it in. Watching the feeding and the chrysalis process is fascinating. #MonarchButterflies

@Foxthorn I was going to leave it out there, but went back to get it and it was gone!!!! I thought a bird had gotten it or it was blown off because it was so close to the road. I found it crawling in the grass, way too close to the road and our driveway. Had to save it!!
@GrandmaJ it obviously needs a name and we are going to require regular updates :)
@Foxthorn Right now it’s not moving or eating, so I hope I didn’t interrupt something important. For sure its name would have been Squish if I had left it there.
