@OldCountryDoctor I grew grew up in Fredericksburg, VA, where Jefferson drafted the Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom. There was a monument to this on the grounds of the elementary school I went to. At the time, separation of church and state was a revolutionary idea. It truly saddens me that so many people have turned their backs to it.

Hopefully (everything crossed) we will be moving to a new place in the middle of next month. I am thankful for this prospect, and that my wife and cats haven't killed me or each other in the process.

This afternoon, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments in the the Mar-a-Lago documents case.

DOJ wants the appeals court to end the specious special master process put in place by U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon. The appeals court has already shown deep skepticism toward the trial judge’s rulings in the case, so the Justice Department is expected to prevail.
