The problem with religion is containment, it has no place in governance. When MTG ignores the separation of church and state to proclaim we are a Christian nation its sickeningly wrong. As I've posted before if Jews said you have to wear a yarmulke, we want it to be law. MTG would drop a litter of puppies, along with 76% of her state.

@homebird @OldCountryDoctor @sazemisery I think it's misinterpretation of text written by men with the goal of mass manipulation of simpletons. That doesn't mean I don't pursue spiritual growth, but it does to them. My cousin to me this summer: "why do people hate us" it's because you can't keep your religion to yourself and out of governance.

@OldCountryDoctor I grew grew up in Fredericksburg, VA, where Jefferson drafted the Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom. There was a monument to this on the grounds of the elementary school I went to. At the time, separation of church and state was a revolutionary idea. It truly saddens me that so many people have turned their backs to it.
