@jenebene yes, they are a couple of swaledale rams owned by a friend in my header pic :) Very widespread around the northern pennines.

I generally use their fleece for rugs as it's quite rough wool - warm though so it makes good outerwear - quick and easy to spin too :)

Casual observation (and this is only my opinion, nothing more) that it seems some bird site refugees like myself are coming over here and are a little bit uptight and confrontational, while folks who have been here for a while are mellow and relaxed. It may take a while for the newbies to adjust to the less toxic atmosphere here.

But my advice to the newbies would be, if you're coming over here with a 'tude and just looking for a fight, knock it off. I for one am keeping my CoSo feeds positive.
