I read recently that anyone that creates is an artist. I also like to paint, draw, write, but don't consider myself an artist. Maybe we are though! 😊

@CinnamonGirlE I agree with you. I think an artist is someone who creates. Anything else is about perception.

@CinnamonGirlE @Florence I have seen sheet rockers that are artists, a circular brick patio built by an artist, my dad using a micrometer to calculate shim thickness for shim / bucket valvetrains as an artist too.

Exactly. It could be argued that he was, gourmet cooks are, parents who shape their children are. It's all in how we perceive it.
