@Florence i do believe this is a premature assumption to make.
f'rinstance, in Texas family code, a minor is defined as a person under 18. HOWEVER, in Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code title 4 chapter 106, Sec. 106.01. DEFINITION. In this code, "minor" means a person under 21 years of age.
106.05 & .06 have exceptions for (1) the minor's adult parent, guardian, or spouse, [...] and is visibly present when the minor possesses or consumes the alcoholic beverage;

@silent_dystopia To add to that, the AG actually clarified it. A jounrnalist asked this question specifically, and it was clarified. But, then again, there may be some exception that they didn't mention. But it came up as a specific question. I shall now endeavor to find out.
