Morning. Go to bed early. Sleep long. Wake up tired. WTF? More please.

Good-day all. Up early, infusion begun.

Miss Mayzie giving a side eye to these scooters parked in the handicap access. The day before I moved a single to the side that had been parked in the middle.

I thought there was only one asshole in the neighborhood. (grr) I called Lime and they did have them picked up. But I've seen them sit for days.

Someone tell me, are there any seeds of peace we can plant for Memorial Day or are we stuck with beer and BBQ?

Good morning all.
For those past and present giving their all.
A moment of silence.

Poppies, whose tiny seeds deep in the soil germinated after it was "tilled" by artillery shells of WWI in the fields of France. Decorating the bodies of the soldiers who had given their all. Remembrance Day 11.11.11 @11am. the date of the armistice, the poppy became it's symbol.

Sunflower seeds given by the grandmother for the Ukrainian invaders pockets. So the fields will be full of sunflowers come spring.

Well, that's it. Good morning 🌞 and good day. ☕ is finished, and I have to do some patching and painting 🖌️ 🎨 downstairs before guests arrive this afternoon.

Be well, do good things.

Well good morning all my CoSo friends.
Good day to the GMT 0 folks.
Sleep well Australia and New Zealand, and I hope those in Guam are safe and secure. Sending good thoughts and energy to those who are not.

Be well, do good, spread love. 🫶
Love long, and prosper.🖖

In Tulum, watching folks assemble booms to hold back the sargassum. As you can see there is a lot already. I think they are going to run some 100 km strategically placed along the east coast - the Mayan Riviera.

Well, I asked.
And apparently it's masa on the inside
...than it is on the outside.

My home for the nite. Telchac Puerto.
Kibbis and Pimitos.
Sunset.

Kibbis are Yucatan's take on falafel, or kibbeh?
The pimitos are cornmeal/masa around a finely ground meat...or?

There's child labor, then there's child labor. Anyone have any issues with this? I don't.

Anyone else had this job? I did in '76.
I was warehouse and took off the empties and returns, then filled them back up. 6 days/week. These trucks and these drivers are how you get your beverages.

I figure almost everybody's done this or knew somebody in this industry.

Or am I just stoned.

An Irishman walks in to an Irish bar in Valladolid, MX. A few random walking blocks from a randomly selected hostel.

But not before walking in to the most Mexican of bars...asking if they had comida y cervesas...and being instantly served cold Dos Equis and chicharrones and a menudo-like selection of offal in delicious sauce. Then another cold beer and a couple fruit plates with tajin. Now that was a well spent 80 pesos. $5 mas o menos.

Oh, and Guadelajara v. América on at the Irish bar. ⚽.

By jinky, I'm just like my hero, Elmo of Cars in Space!

"Musk claimed on CNBC that he took only two or three days off a year, and otherwise did at least some work seven days a week with only six hours of sleep a night." - Fortune mag.

I claim the same thing.

Some of it's true...

Man, chilaquiles for breakfast and street tacos for lunch and dinner...every day is not too much.

Buen dia todos! 🌞
Yo va por Merida hoy.
El es la segundo mas vieja ciudad en Mexico y tiene muchas edificios vieja y interesante.
