Senate Republicans failed to do so, and the Trump administration ordered last month that door-knocking conclude by Sept. 30, weeks earlier than the experts had hoped.
The Senate should have passed a covid-19 relief bill months ago, with a census deadline extension in it. With the bureau up against a wall, senators should not wait to agree on the rest of a relief package to give the counters more time. The census needs clarity, now.

Well, those appear to be the keys that still work on my apple wireless keyboard after I spilled Rolling Rock all over it last night, then rinsed it with alcohol....the rubbing kind...and let it dry. Oh well - so goes the saga of the $19 thrift store keyboard, worked perfectly til then, and only missing the FN key.

Well, that was too easy, no wonder it took days. My wireless keyboard wouldn't type alpha, only numeric. But it's a small apple with no numloc. Tried all the alt-x combinations I could, still nothing. So have been using the big usb keyboard I keep around just in case...it's got a numloc - wait a minit - what if I just pressed that? Yes! That made the wireless keyboard work properly again.
