Parents have issues.
Leland just making a statement.
Parents don't speak Lelandese.
@Mandypar
I'm headed for sleep, I imagine you are close to your morning. So have a good one. Enjoy whatever your Friday brings. 🫶
@redenigma
I can do various accents pretty well, but I've never been able to pull off the Scottish accent. I read this out loud and even on the first run thought I did pretty well. Twer tha scripten mad et faeir sempl. Thanking you.
Good morning CoSo! ☕
Spent yesterday pm finding and booking flights. have to return to CO to do election work for late Feb/Mar, then return. Used AA points outbound, then I found return flights 3 weeks later from $98 to $117 and a bit more. Began booking, they went up to ~$550 as I booked. Had to spend hours finagling, and finally got an acceptable "hacker*" flight for just over $200. (*2 separate bookings via KIWI) which took a couple hours to "confirm" with both airlines. Spg break price incr?

I agree, I can just scroll on by and not let it bother me.
Thank you internet people.
Anyway, it's just a thought. 😉
Another thought I've had is that if I have a column dedicated to #subject, then #subject should be filtered out of my other columns. Otherwise I see the same post multiple times. Like, My Friends would't also show up in the Firehose.
I have a politics/Ukraine column that could be "pulled out" of the other columns.
Am I just being that guy?
Apologies to J for perhaps nitpicking on his wonderful site.
✌️and🤟 everyone.
#politics would cover a lot of words that you'd have to filter individually. Not as simple as changing convo's at a party - after you've encountered it.
I follow #politics, but filter various *trumph* words out.
It's the topic, not the horserace between candidates in some other state or national race that you don't need or want to see.
It would also cover world #politics - like UK EU or Ukraine.
I think I've suggested before, and not gotten much positive response. It's a chore for J @th3j35t3r for sure. It's #hashtags. How difficult to have a pop-up list of most used tags appear to choose from before you can hit POST?
We can filter (or search) our experience all we want, but not easily without them.
This was brought to mind by another's post this morning about the plethora of politics here. Some do not wish to see any, I filter some (like *rump*) but this year will stress some folks
Good morning all my 'nauties!
I hope you're all well.
It is sliding into the last week of the first month of 2024. Holy cow how did that happen? Time dilation?

Ich habe meinen Kaffee ☕ getrunken.
And now it's time to get something done.
Dropping the truck for brake work - again. They'll do it until it's done right. /sigh
@Mark15
Did you check the expiration date on that salt. 😆
@stueytheround

@stueytheround
This is a near-drunk tooter magruder...right there with you, just gimme a minit to catch up...time for another G&T. Then up to the rooftop to exclaim my non-sobriety to the masses.
@Mark15
I always add olive oil whether micro or pot corn. And now I have some Olive/Truffle oil mix...when I add fresh grated regianno and 100,000 year old Himalayan Pink salt (expires Apr/25) you know I'm some kinda 1%'er hoity toity sumbich that can't be taxed over 3%.
I'm tellin' you it's true, if I'm lyin' I'm dyin' -- try it. 😎
...And that even was prolonged into young adulthood and even into college—not the playing so much, but the nicely normal feeling of most every day. That is no longer the reality of course—but simply wanting what used to be a “normal day” like that is where I am in this moment on this morning of this day. It is profoundly sad to me—tear causing sad—that it is seemingly no longer possible for this to be the reality. Such is life.
