Good morning all, headed for the coffee pot. Until I could get conscious enough I browsed the other site There are still a few gems left over there on the bird site.
Enjoy...

There's child labor, then there's child labor. Anyone have any issues with this? I don't.

Also this morning I re-read this from Thom Hartmann from March 20, detailed in his books: *The Hidden History of the Supreme Court and the Betrayal of America.* and *The Hidden History of the War On Voting.*

|Republican candidates for president committing treason to get into or stay in the White House has been the norm since 1968: it’s time to seriously discuss the five-decade-long problem we have with treasonous and illegitimate GOP presidents.|

Good Sunday morning my friends. This morning in my email I read this from Greg Olear. , Tolstoy on Bonaparte, and present day corollaries, , chance and *Great Men*.

"Bullshit, says Tolstoy. Great men are a product of their times—that is, of the random events that collectively shape history—and nothing more."

1943: The U.S. Supreme Court rules that requiring a person to say the pledge is a violation of the First and Fourteenth Amendments to the Constitution.

1954: "under God" is added at the request of President Eisenhower.

Haven't finished this read yet. But this guy Buchanan makes Ayn Rand seem mild. Father of the libertarian right, and the plan the oligarchs have been following for decades.

From Thom Hartmann:

America has endured 42 years of Reaganomics and over 50 years of Nixon’s racist Southern Strategy. We lived through Trump’s threats, bombast, and treason.

And we’ve seen the results of FDR’s Social Security, JFK’s NASA and Civil Rights legislation, LBJ’s Medicare and Medicaid, and Obama’s expansion of healthcare with the ACA.

I don't think it's going to take long for this House session to become such a shit show to where "moderate" Republicans may finally decide to work with Democrats. Since anyone can call for a vote on the speaker at any time, there may be a way to form a coalition to replace this. But it's going to take some time.

Is there a single Republican that Democrats would be all right with as speaker that they could get behind, along with 5-6 Republicans?

Well we've crossed the Rubicon. I cannot up-scroll the firehose fast enough to reach the top. Therefore I cannot reach the end of the coso universe.

But my friends column, & , and feeds are enough. I unpinned the firehose a whole ago and usually only see it on my phone.

Remember to drop a small donation here when you are able. It's worth it.

This woman, a friend of mine, a Democrat, just won a CO State House seat from a deep Red County in her second attempt. Meet CO State Rep - elect Stephanie Vigil from El Paso County.

Use those folks. There's a lot more on here than there used to be.

Personally, I have a politics column, but some folks wish to be here without that, and filter it. Can't filter if it's not tagged.

Now I do have a possible solution - but of course it's more work for @th3j35t3r to code something. A prompt before posting that does a dropdown pick list of maybe the top 5 hashtags - so you are encouraged (but not prohibited) to tag before posting?

Love to all!🤟

Anyone have any insight into the Chilean constitutional reform they just voted against?

Seems it was too left-egalitarian. Equality for indigenous peoples and environment, etc.
