Been back here in PR nearly a week at the house 20 min from here. Putting things back together that I left 5 days after Fiona. Finally down to the beach for some downtime and local cuisine. Oh, and beers.🍺😁
Off to PR with cans of green chiles, chipotle, soba noods. TSA thinks they might be explosive.

It was a 60° day so I counted on going for a ride in the sunshine since my bike's been parked away during the snow. I'd gotten a new battery, went to install it, dropped a couple of washers lost 4ever. It took some time to accomplish the task. The shed gate led out onto a North shelter snow/ice so I had to zoom out through that, then got about an hour of tooling around and stopping for a beer and now I'm back. It was a good ride. It was a short ride. It was a cold ride after sunset. I loved it.

Yesterday a friend and I were at another out of town friends to paint their kitchen. Raided their fridge of Veggies Who's Time Was Near, with a slice of ham, popped in oven while we prepped. Viola! Xmas dinner.
We don't Xmas - but this is our gift to our friend. Today actual painting.

Enjoy your end of year celebrations in whatever way you do. I have managed to be in warmer climes the last 4-5 years at this time as it's not my favorite season. Reasons.
Good thing I was home to shepherd the house through the recent deep freeze. Since I'm not finished with the remodel the cold air was not well sealed out - so some emergency re-remodeling in order. 
Good morning all. Pipes to toilet and shower frozen. They are in the floor ceiling between 1st and 2nd floor, adjacent but not touching exterior brick wall. No wonder my floors are cold.
BTW, you can too microwave an egg without it exploding, if you crack it first.
Just don't squeeze it when you pick it up. 😉
