Why?
More complicated and expensive than simply making the whole corner accessible. I see this everywhere.

So I started out this morning organizing my junk drawer, that extended to more kitchen cleaning and organizing. I hung up my skillets and cleaned all the spices that have been gathering dust and grease for years in this old house. Much better now.

60° today, 49 and snow tomorrow. Wanted to sail or ride. Co-captain didn't get out of bed til 10:30 hungover, and motorcycle battery is dead, had to buy new after a couple wasted hours attempting to charge it. Now into my 4th pint of hazy and many sads. 🙁 But - Good convo with barmate on the other side of the political spectrum. I value and work to make those convos happen.

I wonder why this blender wouldn't run.

That grease was cooked to silly putty consistency.

I'll have it turning smoothly soon.

Our monthly drag brunch star. So proud of our local community who packed the place here in Colorado Springs showing up to support our LGBTQ+ folks in what was known as hate city in the hate state. Were making progress!

Does anyone here still shoot 35mm film?
I haven't in years.
Time to get this to someone who'll use it.
On ebay it seems like it's worth $300-900.
Hard to tell.
Maybe raffle this off for CoSo?

Good morning all!
Drop biscuits, kielbasa gravy.
My baking soda is old and I didn't get much rise, but still decent biscuits. I popped the one on the side in the skillet and it came out nicely!

Shop-vac/blower motor behaved intermittently for months. Finally stopped working. So of course I disassembled it completely () looking for the fault. Cord looked in #1 condition, but after cutting it open, here's the culprit. While disassembling, of course I screwed up the threads on the main spindle taking it apart and had to grind it down and carefully recut the threads. Now to attach a new plug and reassemble it.

All right. Game on. I had a crust, so, my real-time entry: Marinara, Cojita, chorizo, tomato, green chiles, sweet peppers, spinach. Herbs and spices. Green Cholula.

Nosh: Sweet potato rounds fired off over the flame and then roasted with sweet red pepper, wilted greens and some kind of honey lemon drippings from a packet I had. Not bad.
Dinner improv #620

Dinner improv: Brussels, peppers, carrots, and wilted greens, all sauteed in butter, with leftover sushi rice on a seaweed wrap.

*What's in the fridge special #420

My gawd I believe I just made the best batch of pork green Chile the world has ever tasted. I'll try to save you some, but...it was just a small batch, my first. Not my last.

Dammit!
First time AFAIK.
Just a runny nose the last 2 days.
Slightly achy.
Figured just a cold.
First time I've been sick since we started wearing masks, and I haven't been as good at it lately.

Decided to test just because I have several tests laying around.

Vaxxed and boosted 3x.

I drink beer so I don't go crazy.
Now medical science is with me...🍺
