I figured out the footing. This was a start. I have more metal stakes and geavel ready to go. Anyway, I plan to finish tomorrow and I'm sure it will last a few years.

Yes, looks great. Small, low, nice location. Having built many decks, I don't really want to know what you did underneath it. I'm sure it's perfectly fine and nothing like what I might have done. 😆
@FireMonkey This was as far as I got. It's all excess wood from other projects and the deck boards from the city house (new direction in there). Insanity! I've never built a deck before but my ignorance got me this far. I learned the importance of square.
