So I'm in Columbia. Forgot my debit card in the machine. It ate it. Now I have to rely on credit card for a cash advance, and I f'd up my pin 3 times. I called the bank to fix it. The AI answering process couldn't understand a word I said but eventually said "okay, we're sending a new pin to your house in by snailmail." I neither asked for nor authorized this. After 24 hours of panic and five calls to Citibank. I got a friend to send me money by Western Union. "At any WU office."
Nope.
Mañana.

@FireMonkey Oh no! Those bank machines are very grabby with your card (apparently an anti-theft thing, but i know so many people who have had the bank 'steal' the card from the people who actually own it that it makes one seriously wonder who it really helps.
Here's hoping the rest of your trip there is less eventful and that your luck turns around for the better! 🙂
