He's comedian not a propagandist. He'll call the shots where he sees them. There is plenty of time for him to spend making you happy. Perhaps this is the setup. Perhaps he should have been a one-term president as he promised, and the Democrats could have been ready with a deeper bench. Or God forbid a plan to replace him in the second.
@FireMonkey @Blueway if the problem is being old, Bernie is older.
@JPSCHWEIZER63 @Blueway
Yeah if age was the issue it seems to be about age-related performance. Bernie has amazing mental and physical stamina. I've tried to keep up with him at rallies.
@FireMonkey I get it, but who's the D candidate if not Biden? At the end of the day, electability is the key. I don't think Harris is, at this point. So who? Biden beat TFG once, and I'm moderately confident that he'll win the head to head again if it comes down to it. Pragmatism often sucks and purist strategies don't often win in a democracy (such as it is).

I agree, they just don't have a bench, or a coach that can pull a pitcher and have someone ready in the bullpen. Biden had his plate full, and nobody was working on a succession plan. (You're right, probably not Kamala).
Our system doesn't work that way so much anymore since the cigar smoke-filled back rooms went away. That's where the coaches hung out.
There's a whole lot of randomness to who can be a successful candidate. A true leader - even more rare.

And by the way, I think he's done a superb job and I was not a Biden supporter. I am a Bernie guy. Maybe they should sub in Bernie.
