I remember that from afterschoolwhen I was a kid. Never got into it, thought it was just another of Mom's soaps...then watched a couple episodes a few years later and thought it would be good. But it dropped off the radar. I should watch the documentary.

@FireMonkey There are more than 1,200 episodes, so I usually recommend that people start w/ episode 365. That's the beginning of the vampire's origin story (when the governess in 1967 time travels back to 1795). Then watch from there and, if you like it, you can go back some day and watch the earlier (slower) episodes.
