I feel like, if we could just get a movement of people to all agree we hate DST - no other agenda, no concern for whether that's a left or right issue, and just push to get DST gone...

It would prove there's hope we can come together as a people.

Nobody likes DST.

How about we cooperate on something almost everyone agrees on?

Well crap. I like DST. You can stay on that. I like it. Later. You don't need light to get up. Get up in the dark. Make your coffee, move slowly. Gradually come into the day, enjoy the sunrise. It'll be light soon enough.

Now, it's dark at 5: 30.
Can't work outside. Seems like it's time to put on my jammies and go to bed. I lose/waste hours in the wintertime because it's dark. 🌃😴

@FireMonkey @AskTheDevil It's not DST that irritates people, I think, it's the changing back and forth.

And it doesn't just irritate people. It throws off schedules, impacts physical and mental health, and causes all sorts of economic and productivity and safety problems, taken as a whole.

Losing _OR_ gaining that hour throws people off for weeks.

@CoyoteConscious @AskTheDevil
Agreed, whichever one it is, I'd rather be darker in the morning and later at night. I think the only people that affects are school children waiting for the bus?
