Why do I look askance at the Bernie left? Because it thinks that economics trumps all, and if the Democrats had an economic plan which appealed to #MAGA, all would be good. That's a mug's game. MAGA doesn't care about economics. They care about blood and soil. They care about sticking it to the "Other". The Bernie left is living in cloud cuckoo land. And its denigration of identity politics is a tell.
I think that's a pretty thin synopsis of the Bernie left, nearly a straw man. Pretty sure none would argue it would convince the MAGA, and they don't matter. I won't argue it. We all did that a long time ago, and it did us no good.
Bernie moved on to work with Biden and helped create the Bills that have moved the country forward - now known as Bidenomics. Cool.
