What's everyone's take on Telegram? I had gotten everyone in my close politics group onto Signal, but for my everyday, I'm Google Fi and Messages. Getting to the point I don't care about my personal privacy - as much.
Iirc the best one out there is Signal, but it requires a phone number. I don’t think I’ve seen a good alternative that doesn’t.

@GlytchMeister Yea phone # seems to be the link. So maybe there are some with just an email, and make that a protonmail acct. I go both ways - social media I feel should be NOT anonymous - you should be responsible for your posts. But comms need to be totally tight.
