And this is due to "very religious" being associated with being "very assholish". Religion can be a balm and a comfort. But when "religious" is associated with oppression of others, well, this is what happens.

@LiberalLibrarian ...and there will be blood, as those who feel power slipping from their fingers will become even more stridently oppressive in their effort to tamp down dissent. South Africa was minority-led for over 40 years. It is not out of the question to have some variation of "apartheid" here in the States.
