Hey, #cosofood crew! One very popular sauce used in recipes has been Yoshida's Gourmet Teriyaki Sauce. In 2000 this brand was bought by Heinz, but eventually Heinz' enthusiasm for distribution of this product waned to the point that Mr. Yoshida (there really is one) bought the brand back to save the family legacy. In the short term that has left this product hard to find.
I sought a replacement for that thick garlicky flavor and found one! Soy Vay Hoisin Garlic Teriyaki is remarkably similar!
@mcfate Right now a full one of those is about $30 or more on eBay
I paid less than that (on Amazon), but not a TON less. It's a LOT of sauce.
They still have it on Amazon, under $30.
