@rokkinbobokkin @researchbuzz yeah....i think i've seen them used for traffic control, but mostly i've seen them used to moor up ships. You'd def see them anyplace where large ships pulled in anywhere.

Damn....TIL: the original Star Trek theme did NOT use a theremin....i'd'a put money on that...until just now. Apparently it was a vocalist who made those sounds....that's pretty amazing...
