My adult Millennial son randomly and suddenly developed a shellfish allergy a few years ago. He never had food allergies before that. (My side of the family aren't shellfish eaters, so I'm not sure what would happen if we started.)
@Agatha My husbandโs ex had an out of the blue severe allergic reaction to shellfish. Turns out the iodine levels tested were sky-high.
