I spoke (civilly) to a Trump supporter coworker today. I told him I have no problem with conservatism because we need to work together to represent ALL the people in order for government to function properly. I told him I couldn’t f’ing stand Trump because of his well-documented history of racism/criminality, and he said with complete sincerity that he didn’t see it. What do you do? He actually said, I can’t stand him either but I think he’s been a great president. WTF?? #confusing
@catlynne333 SO sad. They don’t ‘get it’. It starts so small, on an individual level. But I often wonder. What will happen when they find out how completely nefarious Trump and his minions really are? What if he is found to be a bonafide traitor? What will happen? Will they remember they are Americans or will “winning“ be more important at all cost, even to the extent of sacrificing the survival of what America stands for because ‘winning the argument’ is more important?
@FabulousLVNV i think they are dangerous to the republic...
@catlynne333 Welp. I keep coming back to this representation: It’s like political rubbernecking. I have an awful lot of respect for the main stream media, but this particular aspect must end.
@FabulousLVNV the stupid. It burns.
There's lots of R's who dislike Trump but consider him a great prez.
Because he promised them he would appoint anti abortion sc judges. They like him because he is anti immigration. You know poc are gonna take away their jobs in landscaping, bussing tables, hotel housekeepers, you get the drift. And you know he's a great businessman who "tells it like it is"
And last but certainly not least, he could shoot someone on 5th Ave and they would still support him!
Save your breath
@FabulousLVNV I think the trump lovers are all in a cult... its sad...
