Move to Virginia for work?

I like our home here but the opportunity means living in the country instead of suburban hell. Having land means I can have a hobby farm and our critters can have a covered indoor outdoor area. No HOA.
Also means traveling to New Zealand a few times a year.

Cons: moving is awful. Not as many rights as Colorado. Bestie who works from home here couldn’t work in Virginia and wouldn’t be able to move with us.
