Major vulnerabilities are disclosed so often that it's easy to get inured to them but even so this seems really really bad.

I worked around PLCs my entire career. They were designed to run forever and 'security' was the assumption if you could get to the control panel you had already passed security points.

Why on earth somebody thought they needed WiFi instead of a hard wired network connection leaves me scratching my head. WiFi 'security' :facepalm:
