Just started watching Startalk on YouTube and their guest is about to begin speaking on hibernation in animals and how it may be able to translate to humans on long space missions.
As I said I just started it but the first thing that popped into my mind is how REM sleep would affect that. If a human is kept in REM sleep for a long period of time, would it affect them when they were finally woken? We dream some pretty funky dreams just overnight and they can leave you feeling pretty messed up. +
