My daughter takes her drive test to get her license today.

I am scared for my insurance prices. lol

@Evereigh good luck! Mine didn’t seem to do much when my 16 yo son got his recently, but we do have an appointment with our agent next week to talk about it. The agent does a talk with new drivers about safety and what to do in an accident. When I attended that with my other kid I learned a lot too! 👍🙂

@AverageCitizen Thanks! When our oldest started driving, it went up about $140/month, but we also added another car (his). We won't be adding another car this time, so hopefully it's less!

It'll be nice for her to drive herself to school and such, but man, I am not ready for my youngest to be on the road! lol

@Evereigh same, my 16 is my youngest. I rode with him yesterday to show him how to use the fuel only gift card at the gas station and yikes. He is still a bit hesitant at the wheel. I am hoping he gets smoother driving to and from school soon. (We buy him a fuel only gift card with a certain amount on it and anything over that is his responsibility)

It’s so weird for me to think that I won’t have to drive him to all the games this fall (for pep band). But I think I will quickly grow to like it!

@AverageCitizen Yes! I know it will be strange, but I know I am going to like it! lol She does the most "extra" activities, so it'll be nice to FINALLY not play Taxi!

Now, if I could just convince the 18 year old to get HIS license...He is uninterested but needs to GET interested, cause he needs to get a job and Mommy ain't driving him to and fro!
