Saw some neat laminate flooring "stair kits" at Lowes. Thought, "Hmmm...this could be the solution to my problem!" Got home checked the website....it would cost me $1,100 to do just the stairs with those kits!! That's almost half of what I paid for the flooring for the ENTIRE first floor!
