@Evereigh My dog yogurt constantly breaks her "thumb" nail. I just bandage it and wait for it to fall off. The bandage protects her from bumping it or trying to lick it. Maybe you can try that and see if she feels better until her appointment.

@SilversageLulu Thank you for that, that makes me feel a little better if I cannot get her seen. I worry about infection, but I have wrapped it and she seems "okay" other than kinda limping around cause of the bandage....

@Evereigh Yogurts never got an infection from her broken nails. Just don't let it get wet and check as often as you want. She's an expert with the bandages, doesn't even bother her anymore. You could always put some antibacterial ointment on it if it's bleeding.🤎
