@sistersib We have "ghost" cats who are indoor ferals...they're about 8 years old now, were transported to me from San Bernardino shelter and I was supposed to foster them for a woman in Marin. Turned out they were all 3 feral af..even at just 4 months old. None of this "just spend time with them and socialize them" stuff. All 3 are Grey but they weren't from the same litter and the 2 males fiercely defended the female...so they live under our bed and we only occasionally get to see them.

@sistersib We also feed 5 outdoor ferals 2 of which we TNR'd, Tuxie after just one litter, CC (her daughter who evaded the trap) after her 2nd litter, and all of their offspring are also fixed/vaxxed/chipped and some have been adopted. Of the other 3 the baby daddy is a big boy and trap wary, and the two tabbies are recent arrivals (one of whom appears to have had kittens about 5 months ago that just started showing up to eat recently). So 5 total to TNR yet...sigh.

@sistersib Oh and we currently have possible hospice feral cat. He staggered into our back yard about 2 months ago..emaciated. Netted him & took him to the vet where he was diagnosed with pneumonia and FIV. He's on his 3rd round of atb (also had a shot at initial appt as we weren't sure we'd be able to give him meds). Took him to the TNR clinic last week and they put him on the 3rd round of atb & still not fixed. He lives in a big cage in our heated garage. He's gained 6 lbs which is positive 🙂
