I'm trying something new. iPhone now allows apps that allow you to block entire ranges of caller ID numbers, rather than just single numbers.

It's not useful for spoofed numbers, obviously -- you'd just end up blocking all your real neighbors without blocking any actual spammers.

But there are companies that sell "pink contracts" -- they knowingly sell services to spammers (i.e., SPAM is pink meat), and just pretend to enforce terms of service. Those caller ID numbers are real.

Onvoy LLC/Intelliquent is a company that keeps showing up if you search incoming spam phone call numbers on TelcoData.US . If you report callers to them, they claim it's a subcontractor and that they will notify them, but the pattern of calls continue. Each incoming number shows up only once.

So I just blocked their entire range of 972-634-####. I'll see how it goes.

@EileenKCarpenter You might be able to file a complaint with a state or federal office. They're finally cracking down on outfits like this.
