The greatest minds and talents out there have not come forward due to the forces (sometime internal, mostly societal) arrayed against them.
Humanity desperately needs a paradigm shift in the way we think and operate. The instrument of that change will almost certainly be a magnificent idea or individual not considered "normal" by "civilized" society.

I wonder how many Einsteins and Curies are lost to poverty and sweatshops and hierarchical, top-down, scarcity-based, lack-based, suffering-based social systems.
