Just saw one of these ⤵️ (fisher cat) walk through the card. They are so beautiful! It was a big one, about the size of a wolverine or medium-sized dog.
@EdgeOErin I’d love to see one, but have three dogs… so hoping not in my yard. We have a lot of Fox out here. Had a kit of 5 this past summer rolling around on the lawn behind our garage.
@muneaux Fox are lovely...there used to be many more around here, but seldom see them (whether due to a meagre rabbit population this year or people shooting them).
@EdgeOErin The Fox are all beautiful, but you are correct on the rabbit population. We used to always see bunnies hopping around out there, but the Fox decimated the poor things this year. Perish the thought, but a guy up the road is putting out traps to catch them for their pelt 🤮. I know because one of my pups got caught in one of them. Now I’m afraid to walk in any of the fields around here. How is it that animal rights activists haven’t gotten this cruel practice outlawed yet?
