@NapsAndSarcasm Awesome. I devoured those books when I was about 16. They were quite dark, but delicious. #booklovers
@EdgeOErin I just bought all the Incarnations books again (except the new one... It's impossible to find) but the prices for the Space Tyrant books are insane.
@NapsAndSarcasm I think I still have the Space tyrant books in a box somewhere. It's weird they are so expensive
first thought is Frank Herbert. Dune series, but also Whipping Star, Dosadi Experiment, Jesus Incident, & Lazarus Effect
@richquaal Thanks for your post. I read Dune long, long ago...
I was more into Piers Anthony, but also loved Philip Farmer's Riverworld series. #booklovers
@EdgeOErin & # booklovers
More recent science fantasy from N. K. Jemisin; Broken Earth Trilogy & Inheritance Trilogy
@richquaal It's great hearing about these other authors! Thank you booklover of #booklovers
Final thought is William Gibson's cyberpunk books thru to The Peripheral & Agency
@richquaal Cool! I will keep that in mind for "Wild Wednesday" here on #booklovers
@richquaal @EdgeOErin I read the first in the Broken Earth trilogy and enjoyed it, but my library didn't have the rest of them at the time. I should check again. Thanks for the reminder!
@princesscarolyn @richquaal
Awesome :)
@EdgeOErin I really enjoyed Sarah J. Maas and Tomi Adeyemi and the Maze Runner series by James Dashner #booklovers
@princesscarolyn Mostly new names to me. I used to read A LOT, but less so these days. I get a few pages in at night
@EdgeOErin as much as his stuff has some disturbing misogyny, Piers Anthony's Bio of a Space Tyrant books were what brought me to Sci-Fi as a kid (I was 10 when I read Refugee)
