Turns out if you just plug the Tele into a Marshall JTM Studio 20 and turn the volume up to a bit over 9 or so...

The apparent temperature is 5.1ºC, and it feels like we're gonna blow away with wind from the south gusting up to 82 km/h 😬

So, because Nelson has to vote by law, he needed to make a choice and I reckon the right one.
The independent council has been good, and I'm glad to see the die-hard conservatives at least recognise and vote for them.

Voting is compulsory here, and the polling places are usually public school or church halls, so they seize on the opportunity to make a few $ by selling 'Democracy Sausages' to the voters.
These kids are being introduced to democracy in precisely the right way: an overcooked sausage on a single slice of the cheapest white bread - because that maximises the profits for the school P&C - served on a bit of paper towel.

On my way to do my democratic duty and vote in the local council election.
Even though this is just about the lowest stakes election an election can be since the Liberal Party - which is, confusingly, the conservative one here - forgot to register any candidates 😂, I love voting.
Every time I walk to the polling place, I can’t help thinking about all the people who bled so I have the right to vote. I owe them.

Looks like the independent Australian Electoral Commission has officially decided that where I live is now in a different federal electorate. They do it purely by population, and there's no opportunity for partisan gerrymandering, so that's cool.
It's also cool that I simply switch from one excellent independent MP, Zali Steggall (l), to another, Dr Sophie Scamps (r), so I don't even need to figure out new voting preferences 👍
