Just reading the paper and came across this.
There's probably some finely nuanced argument against some of it, but I'm about done with nuance right now, so it seems like a pretty good list to be going on with.
Welp. It's beer o'clock on a Friday, so that means it's time to crack open one of these excellent ones named after our former Prime Minister, the late Rt. Hon. Bob Hawke, who once sculled a yard of beer in a Guinness World Record time of 11 seconds while studying at Oxford in the 50s. A good man.

I was just reading the paper, and they mentioned this bloke, Albert Jacka VC, MC & Bar, who fought at Gallipoli and on the Western Front in WWI.
I read about him in a university course on the history of Australians at war. He was quite a bloke, so I thought I'd share in case anyone's interested in military history:

Sometimes, I give the phishers points for novel efforts, but I almost feel insulted by this one.
It's not so much that, unlike this nonsense, the Australian Taxation Office typically tends to avoid using exclamation points in their missives, so it's something of a clue when there is one.
It's the laziness about the sender's address and the idiotic filename that "WillieHansonxx" wants me to click.
