Flaco inspired a lot of people not only in NY but worldwide. For me he was a New Yorker out there just doing the daily NYC gritty grind while bringing out the best in us. For a bird who had only known captivity for most of his life, he showed resilience in the face of the unknown.Anyhoo, I signed this petition to garner public support for a statue in his honor in Central Park.
