Hello CoSo peeps
This is one of my favorite #shark photos I ever took. It was the very first smooth hammerhead I ever saw off the coast of Rhode Island. Rhode Island is pretty special as the summer Gulf Stream brings many cool critters. On the cool side of the stream you get your “typical” NE critters. On the warmer side of the stream you get tropical critters. It’s truly magical. You never know what you’ll see.

I quickly grabbed the camera as it was swimming away from the boat. I’m not a very good at photography. My adage is, when it doubt, take a lot of pics. This was the best of about 100 😅 Thanks goodness for DSLR
