Today is Fathers Day. My dad is gone. Passed away 8 years ago. He was not perfect, but pretty close. The last Fathers Day he was alive, I made him a card and wrote a "love letter" of sorts. Of how much I appreciated all the things he did for me through the years. From riding me all over town as a little girl on his big blue bike. To loving me through the horrific teen years. For loving me through the unlovable. For always being there. I miss you Daddy. Every single day.

@Darnell It's as good a theory as any but I disagree.

Even before it was damaged during the Kherson counter offensive last year that dam required intensive 24/7 supervision and maintenance by skilled technicians.

The Russians made no attempt to lower the flood gates for the annual Spring rising of the river, they just let the water spill over the top of the dam for weeks (seen on video as recently as last week). This ate away at the bottom of the support piers until they collapsed.
