My writing setup. Simple and without distractions, and I can take it anywhere.

A better metaphor for the state of our planet does not exist.

"The car's on fire, and there's no driver at the wheel."
- Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Dead Flag Blues

Second only to
"Were trapped in the belly of this horrible machine, and the machine is bleeding to death."
-From the same song.

Whenever I get bummed out that society is collapsing, I remeber that I want everyone to get eaten by zombie, destruction of human civilization as we know it, and for the earth to be returned to the animals.

I'll settle for 2/3.

Writing is going well. My characters have come to life and taken over the story. New twists and turns keep popping up that I never planned for and I'm just enjoying the ride they're taking me on.

You want to win the war?
Know what you're fighting for.

I don't like that everyone is shaming George Santos for being a Drag Queen. It is blurring the facts, that he is a con-man and a liar, and igniting hatred against people who perform drag.

I admit that it is a hilarious revelation, but his identity as a queen should not be used to discredit him, especially when there is so much more to work with.

The difference between involuntary servitude and the system we have created, is that it is mandatory that we volunteer our servitude.

Dear most-christians,
If Jesus came back and saw what you do in his name, he would nail you to a 2x4.

The last 3 days have been good for writing. I don't know if it makes up for the last 4 weeks of travel and holiday disruption to my writing schedule, but it has at least been productive and I enjoyed the process.

There is a lot of talk about whether or not 'The last of us' can revive the zombie genre with the end of 'The walking dead'

I want to tell these people that real zombie fans never let the genre die, and we don't care about everyone elses opinions.

Doing mushrooms is nuts. It was nothing like I expected. If you are broken on the inside, get some mushrooms and watch a sunset or something. You need this in your life.

Jamaica trip was good, but now we're home. Happy to be home though. I have a new appreciation for life, and life is really good right now.

Update: 5 hour later I have experienced the birth and death of 1000 universes.

This cost me $20

My least favorite thing anyone has said to me while standing in the ocean "Is that a sea snake right next to your foot?"

Might as well just told me a great white shark was swimming behind me.

Made it safe to Jamaica. The zombie virus hasn't yet reached the shores of the island, but rule of law seems to be breaking down, from what I can tell from their erratic driving.

Update to the update; Charlotte airport is overrun by the undead, but we are on our plane again. Fingers crossed 🤞

Update, now I'm sitting in the airport wondering if I will ever get to Jamaica. The scene here is a dystopian nightmare.

Sitting on a plane to Jamacia, but there is a storm so it will be another 3 hours before take-off. Good news is that I'm sitting in first class, so that part is pretty nice.

Got some writing in today for the first time in a few days. Feel good about it. Managed about 1000 words, which is funny, since I only got through one image of my moodboard.

Because a picture is worth 1000 words.

Jokes are funnier when you explain them.
