How the fuck is the average truck stop beating Best Buy in world of mobile electronics accessories. Literally just want something that will hold my tablet vertically, and I feel like Loves or Flying J would have had them on display at the door, meanwhile best buy doesn't even know such things exist apparently.

I once had a cooking accident in which I dropped a machete on my foot.

And I think no further explaination is needed.

Black summer was an incredible series, and I would put it in my top 5 zombie list. The more I think about it though, the more I feel like it is plagued with the problem of "this needs an end, purpose or goal" of the 3 act narrative. I just want more of that world, there doesn't need to be a bad guy, or a place to go, just day to day survival and character building. Why does season 1 end where it ends? Why does that need to be the journey?

Traveled to Canada last week. I Didn't get much writing done. I was hoping it would be a bit of a writing retreat for me, and I did get some alone time, but the chaos was very high and it was very difficult to sit down for any length of time and focus. A little sad about that, but it was the holidays, so what can you do?

In 2007 a friend came to my apartment on xmas eve to pick something up. Every inch of counter space in my kitchen had an empty beer bottle on it, and I was baking a single serving sized frozen lasagna. My friend informed me that I had hit rock bottom.

The following year I bought a family size lasagna.

Mushroom farm 1.2 is doing great. I built this little fire hazard a few days ago to modulate the temperature inside the grow tent between 65 and 75 degrees. Then the lights and heater shut off over night, letting the temps drop to 50, spurring the mycellium to grow mushrooms when it warms up in the morning.

I was worried that the heater would tax the humidity automation, but the way I designed it, it actually evaporates water that collects in the tray that was overflowing. Win win.

Had a good writing day, and I'm excited to start my zombie/writing/movie podcast.

I just really can't handle conservatives today. Its normally bad, but its certainly much worse now.

I just don't get the blind loyalty and rejection of any form of critical thinking. The most frustrating thing is that if I point out all the ways their tiny brains have failed them, they come right back with, "NO, U!!!"

I'm done with the gaslighting, the trolling, blind belief in any conspiracy theory that justifies their fucked up beliefs. You're all dead to me. Pass the gravy.

I'm really happy that Brittney Griner was released from prison.

No I don't care that we traded an arms dealer for her. I live in America, I see arms dealers all the time. They have shops in strip malls everywhere here. Totally normal career path where I come from.
