I don't like that everyone is shaming George Santos for being a Drag Queen. It is blurring the facts, that he is a con-man and a liar, and igniting hatred against people who perform drag.
I admit that it is a hilarious revelation, but his identity as a queen should not be used to discredit him, especially when there is so much more to work with.
@ianmhill for sure, but its important that in doing so, we don't give them more ammunition.
@DanIsWriting It's the hypocrisy that is being shown and ridiculed; not that Santos is a drag queen.
@FinnegansWhacked thats true among us smart people who know the difference.
Its a fine line; I'm learning about comedy, that not everyone understands that the joke is the absurdity of what is said, not the content of what is said.
Ever watch a smart comedy with someone who doesn't get it? The joke being layers deep, but they laugh at the funny face the person on screen is making, or the way a word was said? Like that, but in real life, and 70% of people don't get it.
Petty bullshit
@DanIsWriting I agree! I could careless he's a draq queen
But he's a lying cheating unethical lawbreakers typical RepubliKKKan
@DanIsWriting
Agreed, but it's also a great example of the GOP hypocrisy over banning drag acts in some states 🤷
