How many MC's are too many?

My current plan is to write as many tangled storylines as I can, weaving in and out of each other, and then just stick with the ones that are most compelling. But if I had no restraint, I think I would have 20 to 30 MC's

@TheStorySmith I have a difficult time with meditation. I have some reasons, I wont get into it, but the short version is that I feel like the guided structured meditation is counter intuitive to my own way.

My mind reaches meditative states when I drive. Its why I chose truck driving as a profession. I want my mind to be for me, and when I drive, I live inside my mind while my body makes money.

That said, I meditated for 8 months, and I'm ready to write.

@TheStorySmith @NiveusLepus @ericlewis thats great advise. I call it having laser focus, my wife calls it "an inch wide, a mile deep".

If you look at successful authors of the past, they had a niche. They weren't everything to all people, because then you risk being nothing to anyone.

Time to sit down and write some depressing and anxiety inducing shit. When I'm writing, I have a constant loop of "east hastings" by godspeed you black emperor from the 28 days later soundtrack. Its just perfect desolate oblivion inspiration.

How do you get in the right mindset?

Does anyone play All Flesh Must Be Eaten, or other zombie survival TTRPG's?
