I've been headhunted before, but tonight I was faithhunted. A total stranger who lives in my town innocuously sent me an FB message asking about my guitar collection. Red flag -- potential thief? Worse -- he's an Elder Mormon. I have to assume, knowing how aggressive they are, that this is merely a tactic to get him another potential convert.
As an ex-altar boy of no fixed denomination, I blocked him. I do not want to jam.
@MichaelTalon Well, the alarm system is set up, the security floodlights are working fine, and I blocked him without replying, so I'm really hoping he doesn't know where to go in the first place, but if he arrives, there's no reason for me to open the door. :)
@DanAmrich should you expect a visit? He is a church elder and I don't think those egomaniacs take rejection very well.
