Apparently, Mark Meadows wants the judge to believe that his official duty as White House Chief of Staff was "Do whatever the President wants and keep him happy," *including* breaking the law. Therefore, he's exempt from prosecution because he was "just doing his job."
This didn't work for Haldeman, so why should it work for Meadows?
