@CriticalCupcake I was pushed down the stairs at an REM concert when the lights dimmed and they started to play. I sprained my ankle and tore some ligaments. But dammit, it was REM! I made it to my chair, stood on it and danced through the whole thing. At the end my friend had to carry me to the car. The boots were thrown away after I had to have my foot cut out.

It was my 2nd REM show, third sprain to that ankle.

I was also punched across the face at a concert, but that's a different story.

@CriticalCupcake Hahaha... I mean I had bruised ribs at Fugazi..

The punch happened at Midnight Oil show. Hunters & Collectors were the opening act and performing a cover of (What's so funny 'bout) Peace Love and Understanding.

The guys behind me were dancing and pushed me into the guy in front of me a few times too many and the guy in front turned around and punched me. As I was on the ground, the guys behind got mad and jumped the guy who punched me.

My jaw hurt for days!!

@CriticalCupcake
Mild considering your other responses, I dropped a folding table on my foot. Broke my big toe. I was in the military. Gimped around for a month.

@CriticalCupcake dog broke my nose requiring surgery - very recent. Prior to that, broke my toe by moving a chair on it

@CriticalCupcake At the time, I carried a water bottle the exact same color, size, and texture of a bear spray can I also carried. Was driving and got thirsty and didn't stop after pulling the safety tab. Used the rumble strips to pull over, completely blind, and bailed out and applied snow to my eyes as I called my mom to come get me. I was 100ft from a concrete overpass.

@CriticalCupcake
A lady pulled out from a stop sign and knocked me off my bicycle. She said the sun was in her eyes, but the sun was to the southeast, and I was riding from north to south. And wearing an orange vest to boot!
Had to do months of therapy for an injured wrist.
Final payout of $11k for my pain.
I now make sure there is eye-to-eye contact when dealing with traffic.

@CriticalCupcake I was brushing my teeth, planted my foot wrong, and threw out my back.
