You walk 10 miles South.
You then walk 10 miles East.
You then walk 10 miles North and arrive back where you started.
A bear attacks you.
What colour is the bear?

@CriticalCupcake
having not walked 10 miles west I can’t see the bear yet …
🐻

@CriticalCupcake Most people would say white, but the Inuit probably have several terms to describe the color, as I think it shifts a bit throughout the year. :)

@CriticalCupcake If I'm back where I started, why did I walk all those miles to begin with? 😶 Also, the only 🐻 I'd encounter around here would be brown. 😊

@CriticalCupcake Fun fact: the North Pole isn't the only place that's possible.

@CriticalCupcake I could be 10 + 10/(2Pi) miles north of the south pole in which case my 10 miles east would be on a line of latitude circling the south pole. In this case, as there are no bears native to the south pole, the bear must have been transported by people so it could be any colour.

I'm going with purple.
